Honolulu Fish Company has developed a proprietary, award-winning packing system that keeps its product cold, even under the most extreme conditions. The outside of the package has a metallic liner that reflects 98% of the heat, while the inside contains multiple layers of protection: a Styrofoam liner, outer thermal barrier sleeve and inner chill liner. Experienced technicians assemble the packages, and the company offers a 100% guarantee that its product will stay 40 degrees or less for 48 hours. In order to keep its product as fresh as possible, a ratio of one pound of ice for every two pounds of product is used. To ensure that excess moisture doesn’t affect the fish, specially developed absorption pads are packed with the product.
